The birthplace of the famous German Writer Erich Weinert is the house of literature Magdeburg. The aim of this House is to promote and support the literature in and around Magdeburg. These are events such as author readings, organized musical and literary events and projects such as the Magdeburg Literature weeks. In addition, various exhibitions are held on writers and literary topics. The opening times are Monday to Friday from 10-12 and 14-16h, and to events by appointment.
